Teresa Nehra
BIOGRAPHY
Teresa Nehra is a learning and development professional with over 20 years experience in a variety of corporate education roles. Teresa has a BA in Spanish from the University of Michigan where she also obtained her teaching credentials.
Teresa’s career began in Belgium in 1988 working as a technical writer for Philips Coordination Centre. In 1990, she moved to European Payment Systems Services in a similar function and also to run the new Technical Training team. In 1994, as a manager in the Europay Academy, Teresa managed relations with customer banks across Europe. In addition to managing Academy faculty, she also created programs and delivered throughout Europe. Teresa has experience working in many European countries, delivering in English with interpreters and has delivered programs in both French and Spanish. In 2002, Teresa created and developed the L&D function at MasterCard Europe from a supplier manager to a business partner.
Teresa has experience managing a team, as a matrix manager, managing remotely and cross-culturally. This allows for many practical examples during interventions.
Since 2005, Teresa has been coaching individuals at a variety of levels on specific development areas and career challenges. Her credentials give her a vast scope of content from which to call upon during coaching interventions.
The customers appreciate Teresa's empathy and listening skills, which contribute to her honest feedback during interventions. Teresa is a realistic optimist with energy and patience. Her breadth of expertise allows her to integrate a variety of practical examples into interventions Teresa is a strong believer in role-modeling and leading by example.
